IGF Condemns IOA’s Interference in Indian Golf Union Elections
- The International Golf Federation (IGF) has strongly objected to the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) recognizing Harish Kumar Shetty’s faction over Brijinder Singh’s elected body.
- The Sports Ministry has also pulled up the IOA for interfering in IGU affairs.
- IGF executive director Antony Scanlon criticized the IOA for excluding golf from the National Games, calling it politically motivated and against Olympic principles.
